      A figure in the background grumbles and contemplates, rhythmically plucking their feet from the ground. “My genius is the only thing holding this cultural wasteland together,” he thinks to himself. A sobbing boy is embraced by one person, then another and another, but the figure remains stationary aside from their comforting rhythm. “My genius is the only thing holding this cultural wasteland together,” he affirms aloud.

    Man, it’s weird, I had a dream a lot like that in my senior year of college, but it was Mr. Rogers. I just remember seeing him give me this big warm smile, and he said “I am so proud of you.” And he gave me a hug.

    I woke up not long after with a sense of satisfaction and renewed self-worth that I’ve been chasing ever since.

    bad angle shot: weird that you would take a nap before your suicide attempt. Seems like the kind of moment you might actually want to be less-than-present for.
