In a city with a large jewish community (the largest outside of Israel itself) in a field that employs a number of jewish people highly disproportionate to the population, unprompted you release an open letter amongst your peers supporting the Palestinians… what did they expect?
You might be very pro-law enforcement but Id still say its a bad Idea to say “George Floyd was breaking the law, he wasnt totally a victim” if you’re trying to get a job at the ACLU.
