Hi, I just bought a new PC this week and I thought a little about all the PCs and smartphones I had in the past.
So I made a list. Maybe you also want to indulge a bit in nostalgia or comment on my list :).

Smartphones:
2008 - Nokia 5800: still have it laying around and it works. Although not always with the current standards. The wifi code prompt is with a PSK (pre shared key), for example.

2012 - LG Optimus P990 2X: Modded the shit out of it and with the time there were lots of software errors

2014 - LG Optimus 4X HD: Screen cracked while BMXing and it was unusable from there on

2016 - OnePlus X: battery died and screen is broken. Will throw it out soon.

2018 - Shiftphone 6m: The software is shit. Would sometimes just restart or switch off without warning. At least at the end of me having it. I think the idea was cool, but it wasn’t executed that good.

2021 - Samsung Galaxy A72: still works like on the first day and will get future Android updates. I had to send it in 2 times, but since it’s a company phone I always get a replacement for the time. Even new phones have got similar specs.

PCs/Notebooks:
2010 - Medion Akoya P4370D PC: A budget PC. I got it for technical college and it worked great. A noteworthy feature is the HDDrive2go dock on top of the PC.

2013 - ASUS N56VZ Notebook (i7 3610QM, GT 650M): Also got it for technical college and used it there a lot. Besides it was pretty good for gaming. It’s still used today by my mom, who uses it to browse the web and read emails, which clearly doesn’t push this laptop to its limits.

2018 - shinobee Gaming PC (FX8300, GTX 1060 6GB) from Amazon: Was great for gaming. Probably the first PC where i was able to play a lot of games on high or ultra settings. But now, after 5 years, there are some system errors which make using it unpleasant for me. I also overclocked the CPU, which works pretty good with the FX8300.

2023 - Geekom AS6 Mini PC: Great specs and overall positive reviews. I can definitely do all the stuff I want on it. Currently playing older games like Darks Souls 3 in WQHD and medium settings. But that will probably be all I need as I’m not that much of a gamer anymore. The system, overall, runs a lot smoother than on my previous PC. Also the size is only 12x13x5,8cm.

Hope that you liked my list.
