1 year agoI think your problem is related to memory. Are you certain that your DDR5 is on the list for your mobo? I had very similar issues with my 13900k. DDR5 is still very new and motherboards can struggle.

Sounds like a fan issue to me. Mobos are designed to drastically throttle down when they detect a failing fan to protect the CPU. If you have replaced your fan, then the issue could be in the connector. Or maybe the fan is plugged into the wrong header? Post some pics.

I9 is overkill if all you do is game. A late gen i5 or i7 would pair fantastically with your GPU.
