    I’m not American, so don’t take this as a political position… I see liberals as generally young, overly naïve parrots that constantly repeat talking points that easily fly in the face of reality. Then I look at conservatives and I see generally old, overly dogmatic parrots, that constantly repeat talking points that easily fly in the face of reality. I fear conservatives because they seem mercinarilly anti-progress without thinking about the consequences, but at least they are honest in their idiocy. I fear the left because they loudly name and shame humans being human while saying they are doing the opposite. They claim all sorts of high ideals, ones I used to believe in too… But then behind all those beautiful ideals I always saw another side that oppressed the “other group” … That is, through the years I’ve been burned by the hypocrisy of the left. Throw one group under the bus to raise another, in some never ending cycle of crabs in a bucket. At the end of the day I’ve come to think ideologies are the problem. If you identify as an “-ist” I distrust what you say, because I expect to hear a parrot.
