Instructions unclear: I’m a troop who sat down and got rammed by this ram. Now I can no longer stand and got rammed again.
I fully expect PayPal to harvest and share the United States data anyway - regardless if you opt out - and they’ll get a slap on the wrist 5 years later when someone finds out about it.
Because it’s accepted all over the internet and is the only way to pay on many websites.
It’s also a way to send money to friends, just like venmo and such. And just like venmo and such, has very few consumer protections or regulation.
The US doesn’t have a national or government system to freely send payments to other people - and no one uses checks anymore - so we all have to pick one of these equally awful private companies to use to send money and hope we don’t get scammed or have our account frozen and our money seized.
I am weeping for the poor soul who is hired to clean those windows.

Thank you for this 🙂
It happens in religious schools regularly.
+1 for philips.
The problem is most of what the big box hardware stores in the US are selling are junk brands. And they won’t even offer basics like a philips 75-watt-equivalent soft-white led in their stores.
The junk brand bulbs will fail in my kitchen light fixture after a year (they start flickering). The philips bulbs have never failed for me.
A properly designed and produced led bulb should last like 20 years.
And then there are people like me, who aren’t opposed to paying for access in theory, but will never be okay with having the videos I watch be tied to an account. It’s inconvenient and I don’t trust Google with my watch history, even when the option is turned off.
Also I wouldn’t pay until: Youtube stops showing ads for hate groups; stops its manipulative recommendations and push towards right-leaning and extremist content; stops manipulating creators to all make the same kind of video in order to please the algorithm; removes hate content and extremist content; stops auto-flagging and removing fair-use content.
The law bans platforms from sending notifications without permission from parents to minors between midnight and 6 a.m., and between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays from September through May, when children are typically in school.
Wait, they hardcoded the school season and school hours into the law? What about schools that don’t follow those schedules?
failing to vote for Kamala is voting for trump.
No, it’s literally not. A vote for Trump is a vote for Trump. A vote for Cornel West or Jill Stein is exactly a vote for Cornel West or Jill Stein.
If you want to argue the math and the practicality of who people vote for in our current system, fine, but don’t gaslight people by telling them that their vote for one candidate is actually a vote for a different candidate.
Came here to say this. Conservatives mostly have a party: the democrat party.
Good on you to call out body shaming when you see it.
Body shaming is still far too accepted and pervasive in our society and it should be called out every time we encounter it.
Thank you for this post. Keep fighting the good fight.
But saying “small dick energy” only works as an insult because having a small dick is still seen by many people as something bad.
If nobody thought that having a small dick was an insult, then “small dick energy” wouldn’t be insulting either.
For the first time ever, manufacturers would be required to study the impact of test dummies hit outside of vehicles. The rules would likely change the design of what America drives permanently.
That’s all the article says about the actual rule changes. Based on this information alone, I know very little about what will actually change.
I feel like the NHTSA should do way more if they can and argue for limits on light truck sizes in their length, height, weight, and perhaps classification.
If he did something illegal – and I am not saying he didn’t – I am 100% in favor of the FBI showing up and arresting him.
Right! Legal consequences; arrest the guy, charge him with something!
But showing up to intimidate him and not arrest him? I don’t want my government doing that to me the next time I say something they don’t like.
It seems like a case of the government intimidating and harassing a guy (who is awful, no doubt) who seems to have done nothing illegal, based on the fact that he has not been arrested or charged with any crime.
Are we really okay with this?
AdAway, AFWall+ (for restricting network access to apps), Root File Explorer (needed to get my watch working with GadgetBridge), Permission Manager X, Xposed Edge Pro (for hardware keys remapping), Pixels (for a hardware display fix)
