  • Sounds about right. My dad has owned both Ford and GM trucks over the years and he’s had issues with all of them. Both brands have been about equally problematic. This time, he got a 2021 Tundra because he was sick of the issues with Ford and GM trucks. He didn’t even care that Tundra doesn’t ride as nice and gets worse gas mileage. Lol.


  • It depends on the car. On a newer car, absolutely they bother me a lot. On an older car, especially one that’s known to be prone to squeaks and rattles, it’s fine. For example, older Volvos are notorious for being rattle traps. You’re wasting your time if you try to chase them down. If you fix one rattle, it will just find somewhere else to rattle. If you’ve ever driven a P2 or P80 platform Volvo, you know exactly what I’m talking about.
