  • You also need to realize that just because your state always votes red, it’s NOT JUST THE PRESIDENTIAL VOTE that matters. It’s the local politicians that get seats in the House and Senate that matter just as much (or more?!?). Pay attention just more than just who’s running for President.

  • Griefing in Fallout 76 is pretty much non-existent - it’s an overblown “headline”.

That community has been one of the most friendly and welcoming communities of pretty much any multi-player game in the last few years. Asking a question or for help from a complete stranger and getting way more information or assistance is actually the more common occurrence.

The game has been around for a long time, so welcoming or helping a newbie is sometimes a nice break from the grind for the high-level players.

Come on over newbies - the game has changed a LOT from its original iteration (which WAS a shitshow full of bugs and griefing - which is outdated information from long past).

  • I’ll probably get beat up a bit over this, but I can’t seem to get away from Fallout76. My buddy and I (several hundred miles away) have yet to find a suitable replacement, so we just keep trudging along.

But in my defense, I have finished all of the others (multiple ways) - Fallout3 was my first introduction to the series.

+1 to New Vegas though (if only it were multi-player)!

  • New ones are definitely in the realm of “no freaking way on that price!” - but an older one is a bit easier to swallow.

I will say, after showing my favorite wife a BUNCH of other brands (new ones) and then showing her the Airstreams - there really was no comparison.

The pic I posted above for what I just got - that Airstream is literally 20-years old…and something I spent a couple of years saving/budgeting.

If that’s a lifestyle you’re after, it can be done - I am by no-means wealthy…but I do tend to spend more for quality purchases versus “close enough”.

  • Guess the Airstream folks haven’t made it here yet???

Anyway, as an update - I did end up buying my first Airstream! It’s funny though - I’ve had it for about 3 weeks, and my wife hasn’t seen it in person yet (even though she’s the one that found it!). It’s a 2004 Classic (28ft twin-bed). I’ll hunt down an image-host and post a pic or two.
