  • Honestly I can say that Debian has improved a lot since then. I was a Ubuntu user for around 2-3 years and thought the same thing about Debian until I realized I was just too lazy to switch haha. I use KDE for my desktop and everything is smooth. No tinkering with .conf files or anything, just install it.

Unfortunately, I use a NVIDIA graphics card and I will say that Wayland and NVIDIA don’t seem to mix well. I run X11 instead and it works fine but it is a little slower. Definitely buying a AMD card after my current card meets its EOL.

the description can be misleading and say in giant text (NEW SEALED DATES 2010 UNTESTED SOLD AS-IS “Unit is untested. SOLD AS IS. FOR PARTS/ REPAIR. NO REFUNDS. NO RETURNS.”)

and then below it is a tiny disclaimer saying that it actually doesn’t work. Therefore, why don’t you just put Not Working instead of Read?

“Please Note : These batteries are still sealed but due to the age of manufacture , they do not work as the cells inside does not hold charge no longer, You should only buy if you know how to replace them with new cells, We do not want you to lose money if you cant replace them with new cells. We are selling and listing them AS-IS not working. NO REFUNDS. NO RETURNS.”

Don’t get me wrong, I still bought the battery because it looked brand new and unused in the box. Saying that the item is “Untested” and then saying in a tiny disclaimer that it actually doesnt work, wouldn’t that be misleading? Since they would have to test it to know it doesnt work, right?

  • FedNow and CBDCs are operated and controlled by central authorities, such as central banks or government institutions. This centralized control raises concerns about user privacy, as all transactions and financial activities could be tracked and monitored by the central authority. This level of monitoring could potentially infringe peoples privacy. They could also control what we spend on money on, this is not cash.

A digital currency infrastructure managed by a central authority enables extensive surveillance and tracking of transactions, spending habits, and financial behavior. This level of surveillance may raise concerns about individuals being targeted or discriminated against based on their financial activities. Why is everyone supporting this?
