So, what exactly does Minecraft (one of the primary games mentioned in the lawsuit) do to cause this? Because that seems like a major outlier compared to the other listed games.
It would help if the lawsuit was actually focused on lootboxes, microtransactions, and the like as harmful gambling.
But it doesn’t. The lawsuit claims video games themselves being good creates an addiction.
I mean, individual IDF soldiers have been uploading this sort of thing to their social media the whole time. They seem perfectly happy and proud of such footage.
It certainly is more mask off this time around. They aren’t trying to hide behind euphemistic slogans like “ethics in game journalism”. Now they are just blatantly open about their anger that women and minorities are being represented in games and how that’s a bad thing.
I find myself today unable to upvote or boost anything without immediately being sent to that maintenance page.
Edit: Oh, also, I just realized that I myself can’t see upvotes on any thread and every thread also lists as having “0 comments”. I have to click into the comment section to find that there are indeed comments.
That also applies to my own posted threads, which I am not receiving any notifications about for comments posted. So I probably won’t even see your or anyone else’s reply to this comment.
I’m just glad to hear that you’re (mostly) okay, Ernest. I was worried.
I honestly don’t think they know, not for all of them at least. The bombing has likely disrupted their communications with various regions that their groups are residing in and any groups that stopped reporting in makes it unclear if they all died and whether the hostages died with them.
Additionally, we already know that there were a number of other groups involved on October 7th that weren’t Hamas and they each kidnapped a handful of hostages. I don’t know if Hamas is able to get info from those other groups on the status of things.
The dumb part is certain people are now trying to bring up the cases of rape that did happen as some sort of gotcha to claim the NYT report was accurate (see the Reddit /r/news thread about the UN envoy statement right now).
When that wasn’t the issue with Anat Schwartz’ article in the first place. The claim was never that no instances of rape happened, we know they did, there’s video of it. The issue was her claim that sexual violence was an explicit part of Hamas’ strategy and goal on October 7th, which was completely unsubstantiated by her and the others involved. They, in fact, couldn’t find any evidence of the sort to back up the claim, but still reported the claim as accurate anyways.
Hamas is an evil terrorist group, but that doesn’t mean we should just open-faced accept pretty obvious propaganda and lies about them. The truth matters, especially in conflicts like this.
Is the judicial branch allowed to order the release of classified materials?
Couldn’t find anyone who knew what they were doing, huh? Not many medical professionals out there that want to be involved in murdering people.
This is why conservatives should stop stoking rage politics. Because it puts them in a position where they can’t immediately tell which side is trying to kill them. Because it could be anyone for a plethora of potential reasons.
Except this is about the primary. How is not voting for him in the primary matter? Honestly, the fact that the Democrat party in places like Florida just got rid of the primary so none of the challengers could be voted for is…dumb to me.
I might hate most of the other people running, since they’re largely anti-vaccine pseudoscience conspiracy types, but people should still be allowed to vote in the primary.

But…they don’t? Their mainline games are always a few years apart (with the exception of Bloodborne, which they had a separate team doing concurrently).
Unless you’re referring to the other games they publish that no one really knows about or comments on? I don’t think Metal Wolf Chaos XD, Déraciné, or Monster Hunter Diary: Poka Poka Airou Village DX should really factor into the discussion.
I just went and checked some studies on the matter. 70% of fertilized eggs fail to go to further embryonic stages and 85% of those are because of uterine wall implantation complications. So, the answer is right in between us, it’s 60%.
Probably even higher, closer to 70%, of the time.
It’s massively important in the sciences, both for computing purposes and theoretical design and investigation purposes.
AI is completely revolutionizing genetics research and subjects like biochemistry and pharmacology, because it’s able to extrapolate from already identified genes and compounds and find new ones or identify the purposes of genes just from their sequence structure.
It’s made processes that would take weeks or months just to identify a single new component to something that takes days or hours.
The question is whether English Isles or British Isles is worse. Hmm…
This guy seems like the type that pretends to be on the left, but will switch to the Republicans at the first sign of trouble. He is absolutely hated by his entire left-leaning constituency. Including by all his city reps you can see in the video, their faces clearly show they think he’s an idiot.
This one in particular is owned by the public, meaning the Berlin state government can control who is on the board and appoints the advisory committee.
So, yes, it is essentially state controlled.
