Most the information I can find on that is talking about the prosecutor being pushed to be removed because he was too soft on corruption within Ukraine. Which was a concern of the USA and Europe as that gives a way for Russia to use that corruption for control within Ukraine. So far I haven’t seen any solid evidence of wrong doing on Biden’s part, he was just carrying out normal pressure to further the USA’s interests in the region.
I mean id happily look at some sources but so far all I’ve heard about Biden is the stuff related to Hunter Biden which doesn’t matter as he doesn’t have a government job and from what I’ve seen he tried to tell people he could get access to his dad for them but he wasn’t really able to. And the other thing I’ve heard was his classified documents which the difference between him and Trump was that he notified the proper authorities that he had the documents and gave them all back while Trump didn’t and when confronted didn’t give everything back and had to be raided.
It’s funny cause the Republicans do try to do stuff like that but it usually ends up failing cause there’s nothing actually there for them to prosecute for. Look at the attempted Biden impeachment and how that floundered cause their only reason was basically well his son did bad things so that must mean Biden is connected to it. It’s almost like the reason it happens to Republicans so much and is successful is because they’re actually doing illegal stuff.
I remember during the GPU shortage I managed to get a new graphics card from waiting outside a best buy for it to open. So I tried to sell my old one on eBay. Gave good pictures and followed all the rules as far as I could tell but because I had never sold anything on their platform before I was instantly banned with no way to appeal. I get they were probably having to deal with lots of scammers but if I could appeal or talk to support I could literally prove I had the GPU I was selling but as far as I could tell there was no option for that. So now I can’t sell anything on eBay unless I get someone else to sell it for me.
Yeah its almost like if we didn’t keep extending copyright protections a bunch of stuff would be in the public domain and any streaming service could offer it without having to deal with licensing.
Ah yes we should wait for the number of deaths/displacements to get higher to call it a genocide and only then do something to stop it. And I’m not entirely sure but that 35,000 figure is just the number of civilians killed in this current conflict, not accounting for the number killed over the many years this issue has been going on and not accounting for the people who have been kicked out of their homes to make way for Israeli settlers.
What I hate more are the entry level jobs that will be like that. Like bro it’s an entry level job and you’re expecting people to have a super deep understanding makes no sense. Like I get it’s just marketing and a way to lower the number of applicants to get just the really good ones but it makes it so much harder to figure out what level of skill a job is looking for if they all say they want experts with certain skills or tools.
Or those with supervision who’s parents just don’t care. I’m on the older end of Gen z and definitely used YouTube before I was that old. My parents never really cared as long as I wasn’t watching anything weird on it.
I just don’t give notification permissions to most apps unless I actually care about notifications from it.
At least in my experience I have more customization issues when taking to people rather than using an app or going through a kiosk. The only time it’s the other way around is when they don’t include an option I want on the digital version but that’s becoming less and less common for me at least. The number of times I’ve had orders just missing customization things I asked for but they didn’t hear or forgot to enter is much higher when I go through the drive through or go in person then when I do it through something digital.
This is why I tend to just use the mobile apps for places to order. Not laggy and gives the benefits you mentioned of using a touch screen kiosk. A lot of them you don’t even need an account to use the app which is nice if that’s something that bothers you.
It’s just smart planning. If you build the oil processing place where you bury dead people after a long enough amount of time you’ll have oil you can get right there!
The real question is if the Republicans get into power can they find some way to say we’re at war (they keep saying the southern border is being invaded by immigrants) and then use that to suspend it. Then if it gets challenged the conservative supreme court can just uphold it as constitutional.
The cut they take is just one of the claims they have against Valve. Some of the other ones which another comment mentioned seem like fair arguments against Valve. The whole forcing pricing parity so game devs can’t offer the games for cheaper somewhere else and DLC from other platforms isn’t compatible with the Steam game and vice versa. And again you can say other platforms are doing that and worse too but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t also go after Valve for it. Just cause they’re a private company and because of that aren’t as profit driven as other companies doesn’t mean they still are gonna do things like this to increase their profits and maintain their majority market share on PC games.

As a gen z this confuses me, I have a wallet and most people around my age also have one. Sure maybe you could say if they carry cash or not cause I definitely don’t carry cash but I still have my wallet cause theres a lot of places that don’t accept phone payments.
Generally I would say yes but a lot of confederate monuments were made after the war so aren’t so much history but an attempt to rewrite it to make themselves look more favorable.
No I’m just saying that Israel is more responsible for Hamas than the Palestinians. If Israel wanted to they could stop their oppressive programs and the expansion of their state through settlers. They could take more care when trying to fight Hamas which it’s pretty clear they don’t right now with the number of civilian deaths and massacres that have happened. You’re trying to say instead of resisting that they should try to negotiate, but without the threat of violent resistance if the negotiations don’t go through then what reason does Israel have to negotiate? If there’s no resistance they can just ignore the Palestinians attempts to negotiate or stall them indefinitely while they continue to push them out of their homes. And yes Hamas is bad and them winning wouldn’t be a good thing but it’s understandable why Palestinians would support them when the only other option is to lay down and die. And yes their resistance is probably not gonna stop Israel in the long run, only international pressure and sanctions on Israel would actually get them to stop the terrible things they’re doing. But that doesn’t mean trying to resist is bad cause again the only other option is to lay down and let the Israel state bulldozer over you and your people.
I’m not arguing that Israel should just sit down and let them do whatever they want. I’m just saying that resistance is justified when it’s clear all the other side wants to do is take your home and push you and your people out. Israel is ultimately responsible for giving evil groups like Hamas support as it’s hard for Palestinians to care about their beliefs when the other side is indiscriminately killing your people and trying to either push you out or treat you as a second class citizen. All they see is a group that is trying to fight against the people doing that so they support it. Cause the only other option is to lay down and get bulldozed by Israel. Without fighting Israel has no reason to care or negotiate, and even with fighting they barely have a reason to care with all the support they get from the western world.
Also it’s pretty clear they don’t really care about the safety of their people. See all the protests against how the government is handling the situation in Israel and the fact that their indiscriminate fighting against Hamas has killed many of the hostages they’re trying to save. It’s just an excuse to expand their control and get rid of more of the Palestinians from the region.
I do agree that the goals of getting rid of Jews from the region are terrible and not possible but the solution isn’t to let them keep pushing the Palestinians out more and more. That would be like saying during the time of manifest destiny well it’s impossible to give the native Americans all their land back cause we live here now so they should stop fighting back and let us take more of their land.
I think investigating it is a good idea which is what the house of representatives has been doing with its impeachment inquiry. However as of now they still haven’t found any solid evidence and it seems like they probably won’t. If there’s evidence I’m totally on board with impeaching Biden but that applies both ways to Trump too. And in the case of Trump there are substantially more wrong things he has done and there’s a lot more evidence of those things considering the number of court cases he’s dealing with right now. It’s like what happened with Hillary all over again, there’s evidence of her doing some wrong things which people use to say Trump is a better choice even though he has many more things wrong with him. And much like with Hillary I think all of this investigation stuff is just meant to make him look bad and if Trump wins it will immediately vanish because they know they either don’t really have a case against him or that at most they could give him a slap on the wrist. Either way evidence coming out during discovery from both sides would probably end up making Republicans and Trump look worse than Biden. Which is why even when they win like they did against Hillary they never really follow through.
