  • I met my late wife on Match.com in 2011 and we had a wonderful marriage. After she had passed away, I took some time to myself, but when I started dating again, I tried a variety of sites.

Hinge, bumble, tinder, and match all got me dates, but I eventually met my now girlfriend on match. We’ve been together over a year now and marriage is in the future at some point, we’re just not in a rush.

It’s worked for me twice now, so I think saying it’s impossible isn’t necessarily true. A lot depends on your location, interests, etc, but if you keep at it, you’re likely to find someone eventually.

Perhaps post your online profiles, or portions of it, to some dating advice magazines and get some feedback. Without more information, we can’t know why it’s not working out for you in particular, but regardless best of luck out there!

  • Long story cut alittle short, I’m a forgiving person and I CAN forgive her.

You can forgive her, but don’t take her back. She cheated on you many times and if she justified it previously, she’ll justify it again. The same applies to all people who cheat on their significant others. They lack integrity to end a relationship if they want to pursue casual sex, relationships, etc with other people, so the next time some dude comes along and tempts her, if she’s interested she’ll cheat again because if you take her back now, she’ll know that you’ll forgive her and accept her back again.

I’m sorry you’re going through this, but these events don’t happen in a good relationship. Forgive her if you need to and move on without her. Take some time to yourself, heal, and find a partner that wants to be with you and only you.

  • So, if the person who is attacking you is much larger, or there are more of them, even if it’s a prank, you’re going to just throw a punch or shove them? What a privileged position you must be in to think you can simply punch or shove an attacker. Say that to the 100lb woman a 250lb guy is advancing on, she should just shove him, right?

Look, I don’t know if you’re ignorant or trolling, but if someone is acting like they’re going to attack someone and they have justifiable reason to fear for their life, then deadly force is a reasonable response. I’m not going to get the shit beat out of me, or killed, because “hey, it might just be a prank.”
