I couldnt figure out why my mustang kept over heating. My dad yold me to take the thermostat out and boil a pot of water on the stove then throw it in. If is doesnt open it broke. They are supposed to fail open. But some actually break and stay closed. That was a hot couple weeks in summer running the heat till i figured it out.
