It’s pretty true.
The only reason companies are as rich as they are, is because we keep choosing to fund them by buying things.

Instead of focusing on its users and the value of self-governance by volunteers, Reddit has agreed to hand over content they’ve generated to Google to train its AI models, in efforts that are now being investigated by the Federal Trade Commission.
Reddit users should now stop questioning themselves about who’s more important than whom.
It’s anybody’s guess as to where Reddit’s IPO will go. Its opening price at $34 a share is the top of the anticipated range, indicating that investors are excited. Following its debut, Reddit shares jumped as much as 70 percent, confirming this suspicion.
I must’ve not really looked, but this is quite the confirmation that Reddit finally pulled the trigger. The enshittification is due to come but we’ll see it in time if it isn’t here yet.
Reddit is dead. But is it truly spez’s fault entirely? I reckon to margin that he is 90% of Reddit’s problems. The other 10 is the users, because as we know, they complain more than do more.
Color me surprised.
I loathe that platforms treat themselves this way. We see this happen over and over again when a newcomer comes into the field to shake things up. They become, eventually, the best alternative. They eventually become the only thing.
And all that they turn out to be, are just portfolio fluffing projects to be made into an IPO. Then the enshittification and oh, there is next to no where to go.
What a world…
An ABC News/Ipsos survey of 536 U.S. adults
Only 536? How is this newsworthy?
Are you implying that he ever did have some kind of touch?
Is this the ‘drag queens’ we’re supposed to be after? Huh, looks like your white-bread trash to me.
There’s no point in debating anyways. What has Trump done in all of the debates he’s ever partaken in since 2016? It’s nothing but loud mouth, underhanded and stepping over boundaries kind of tactics. That’s all he’s got, it’s all he’s had and it’s all he’s ever going to have. There is no point in debating about serious issues with a diaper-shitting loudmouth who’s going to just rabble at you. It’d be like talking to a dumb Reddit troll who’s an armchair know-it-all.
Include browbeating too.
They’ll start to care, even a little, once they grow up more and realize that:
“OMG I’M STILL RENTING APARTMENTS OR LIVING WITH MY FAMILY AND I’M 30 YEARS OLD, WHAT DO?!”
“OMG I’M STILL MAKING SHIT WAGES AND I’M BARELY MAKING BY, WHAT DO?!”
“OMG I CAN’T DO ANYTHING I WAS LIED TO THAT WHEN I GROW UP I’D DO, WHAT DO?!”
And they’ll all take to social media to pump themselves with copium through memes and bitch to the high heavens pretending anyone gives a shit about what they’re saying. Not like that isn’t happening now.
That’s what all campaign messages should be about. Stop dancing around the line with ridiculous claims and how you oppose them or making up stickmen for you to knock down to seem strong.
Shoot it straight and cutthroat.
This world is bullshit!
Akira Toriyama has recently died at 68 and here’s this corrupt media mogul shithead at 92 doing this.
DIE ALREADY!!
This fucking sucks. It was only recently for a while, I was watching Dragon Ball clips of fights, moments and everything. Dragon Ball was never really my favorite series, it’s only a guilty pleasure that I find myself watching it and having some favorite characters and moments of the show.
I was more of a Tenchi Muyo/Berserk/Fist of the North Star kind of fan. But I had a soft spot appreciation for what Dragon Ball brought and has done for it’s community. I am also grateful that Toriyama brought Dragon Ball back so it could see new heights in the way of where it is, after Dragon Ball GT and Evolution almost killed the series.
RIP Toriyama-san.
No.
Go browbeat elsewhere, asshole. You are the reason we are where we are now.
Anytime I start to have a shred of thought that people had some dignity left or something redeemable so that I can’t think any low of them in general. Stuff like this comes out and I’m re-affirmed in my original stance.
I’m still not going to vote. I want NEWER candidates. I want DIFFERENT but beneficial directions for the country. I want SOMEBODY I can get out and vote for with confidence. But you know what, if it’s going to just boil down to Biden and Trump, I can’t be bothered. To hell with it. To hell with America.
“I’m used to the lies we used to tell the people” Buck admitted after a short interview following his retirement announcement. “We used to tell the people that things were OK, that we had terrorists to fight so keep spending, keep them boot straps pulled up and so on.” he recounted “But this whole baloney about Trump and what he’s been projecting, that’s just too much” Buck conluded.
(Not part of the interview but I’d like to think that’s how it’d really go)
Riiiiiight, Linux community is friendlier. I wouldn’t really call them that, though some aspects are. My problem still with the entirety of the Linux community that will always put me off about Linux and rather tolerate Windows more is the elitism. I have used Linux OSes before, I have my fair share of favorites and I see Linux as a go-to whenever I pick up computers too old to bother with Windows 10 and 11 and I just simply want a bare basics machine.
But I cannot in full faith, use Linux as my primary OS. I’ve tried. I can’t do it. There are simply things on Windows that I need and want to use that’ll simply just run and that’s what I want the most is for things to just run. It isn’t because I’m too dumb to use a Linux OS. It’s because I don’t have the patience or time to be weeding through forum posts, deciphering depositories and repositories, figuring out what obscure and vague message the terminal sends me and spending time on Google.
Besides this whole chart doesn’t make a load of sense. Like the whole “you’ll own what you buy”? What does that have to do with D&D and Pathfinder? I don’t get it.
Or moderators.
Like, how discouraging must it be for them, to learn now that the CEO made $193 million while they do all of the work and maintaining for free?
But we’ll figure out the shills though in time, the ones who’ll stay. The ones who’ll find it rewarding to be corrupt pieces of shit.
The last one on the right side could’ve been like “Oh, they were just unbaptised”.
Does the word or context confuse you? Come on, think.
