Very close. It’s the Birkebeinere, the guys fighting the Baglere. The images is quite famous, “Skiing Birchlegs Crossing the Mountain with the Royal Child” by Knud Larsen shows the Birkebeiner skiers Torstein Skevla and Skjervald Skrukka carrying their kings secret son to safety from hiding inside enemy territory, a heir to the throne after their king was murdered and his heir-apparent died.
