He broke the premier league scoring record in his first season, he won city their first ucl. Won the treble. He has 13 goals in 12 games this season. Excluding ballondor and that, how can ANYONE not drool for Haalands goalscoring ability. This is coming from a Liverpool fan that cant believe the standard of talk around this player.
Because football is more than just stats. Yeah his goal scoring record is ridiculous but whenever I watch him he is ugly on the eye and not overly exciting or fluid. I think sometimes people forget that football is more than just goals and winning. It’s supposed to be enjoyable to watch and for me Haaland is not my type of player at all despite his success.
