The bed can barely hold a bicycle, the panel gaps are atrocious, it can barely handle gravel roads and it’s released more than a year after the far superior Ford F150 Lightning and the Rivian R1T. Way to go.

Bed is longer than Lightning, panel gaps look good on the latest ones (and Lightning panel gaps are nothing to write home about, anyway), it will have far superior software, better max charge rate, better infrastructure, more payload, more tow capacity, etc.

Lightning has pros, too, like bigger back seat, bigger frunk, more service centers, etc., but “far superior” is going to be use case specific, at best.

I’ve put bikes in a truck tons of times, and I’ve literally never done that.

Okay, so since this thing exists, it must be extremely common everywhere, and you’re going to deny the experiences of anyone who isn’t you. Way to be a closed-minded jackass. I don’t mountain bike a ton anymore, but I used to a ton as a kid. I can tell you my dad would have grounded me for a month if I just tried to throw my bike halfway over the tailgate because it would scratch the shit out of the truck without one of these, and I don’t see why this would be necessary when you can just throw the bike in the bed.

I’ve owned a compact van and a mountain bike. I could easily fit it I side the trunk of the van.
