All I have had before this is a playstation and I’m overwhelmed. I buy most of my AAA Games on PS5.

I’m looking for some awesome games on sale right now that run great on the Steam Deck.

Do you have any tips for how to make this work well? Does it entirely have to do with a strong internet connection? I tried this with Baldur’s Gate 3 and unfortunately the performance was lagging and every once in awhile I would get a random white frame appear. The console was in a different room from where I was but that doesn’t seem like it should make a difference.

I read somewhere that chiaki4deck runs better. Their official install guide has some settings to change for optimal quality. Seems to work well for me

Yup, when I say Chiaki I’m saying Chiaki4 also. I didn’t do anything other than that the information guide said. I’ve never tried anywhere other than at home, I play in the living room, network is all wired apart from Deck which uses its WiFi. The WiFi on my Deck has always been shit, always constantly dropping off from the Steam system - after a long time I found a fix, switch on developer options & there’s a WiFi option (can’t remember it offhand) but you turn it to the opposite of what it is by default so on or off.

That may be why my Chiaki works flawlessly - I have no idea.
