I have a 2011 Mazda 3, with the stock wheels/tires. 205/55/R16
Due to an unfortunate incident, I need to replace all (and them some! Ugh).
I found a used wheel/tire set online that’s 205/60/R16 for an amazing price. Is that extra 5% in sidewall height a big deal?
DIYer advice:
It’'s an extra 3% in overall tire diameter (an extra 10mm in sidewall height and ride height, and 10mm less clearance at the top of your tires). 10mm is slight less than half an inch. Not a big deal in my opinion.
