        Which was a reference to the abuse she suffered in the Irish Laundries. Are you aware she was in one as a teen?

      Source? According to Wikipedia it was the molestations, for which the pope apologised 9 years later, so 15 seems far fetched.

      Edit: Granted, at the time all she said was Fight the real evil, so no wonder people were confused.

        The two sources wikipedia uses to make that claim are from after the scandal broke and neither quote O’Connor.

        The first apology I can fund fir sex abuse is 2008 so 17 years later

        In 1991 people joked about priests raping kids but it was not common knowledge that the problem was widespread at the time.
