So many potential directions for this franchise…
The Continental - Series now on Hulu
Ballerinas - Forthcoming
Caine - Forthcoming
John Wick 5 - ?
John Wick Prequel - Showing what he did to retire. How he got the blood marker he used in 3.Such depth for a movie about a guy and his dog.
And car don’t forget the car . What makes it sad is john never got the chance to go and get his car back .
Also to everyone who hasn’t watched The continental DON’T let’s just say it sucks . The characters are poorly made , acting sucks , dialogues suck , plot sucks pacing sucks , storyline sucks , some good fights here and there that’s all you get and it’s not at all john wick level ones .
I enjoyed the first episode, I thought it was over-long for a streaming SHOW. It’s more like committing to 3 movies.
It sucked ass . Don’t watch the rest .

I like the John Wick movies but the more they make, the shittier the franchise will become.
I only really liked the first one because it was more grounded and “realistic”. Maybe the second as well. But every sequel that gets greenlit means they have to up the stakes, so it just gets more outrageous and the scale bigger and bigger that it becomes like a Fast and Furious progression.
I only watched the third in theaters cause I thought it was going to be the last. I have no plans to watch any others.
A spin-off we don’t need.
This is the best summary I could come up with:
The franchise expanding film, with no director yet announced, will follow the events of John Wick 4 as Caine has been freed from his obligations to the High Table.
The project also follows Yen, a veteran Hong Kong action hero, pushing back against what he claimed were Asian stereotypes in the original script for John Wick 4.
China-born Yen is a household name internationally thanks to his hugely popular and acclaimed Ip Man movie series, and he has crossed over to Hollywood with outings in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which grossed over a billion dollars, and Disney’s live-action remake of Mulan.
The reason these films resonate so deeply is because, like myself, Chad, Basil and Erica push themselves to create action, fights and stunts that are not only thrilling, inventive and artistic, but also expressive of character, story and emotion.
Stahelski is developing the spinoff movie around Yen’s Caine character as part of a recently announced deal with Lionsgate to expand the John Wick universe.
“From the moment Donnie Yen appeared on screen in John Wick: Chapter 4, he captivated audiences and created an authentic, emotional connection that left an inedible mark and had fans asking for more,” Adam Fogelson, chair of the Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, said in his own statement.
The original article contains 370 words, the summary contains 205 words. Saved 45%. I’m a bot and I’m open source!
So I guess Caine didn’t
