“For our communities to be safe from fascism, our streets must be unsafe for fascists” Spotted on a Bristol street sign, in advance of a planned far-right protest.

How do you make streets unsafe for people based on their opinion? Are you going to go around asking people if they’re fascist?
Simple: if a motherfucker is waving a Nazi flag, then the motherfucker is a Nazi.
most of these dumb motherfuckers will tell you exactly who they are.
Bonus on how to tell the difference for the US: if they are allowed to protest, it is usually a white supremist group. If there are riot police breaking up the protest it is usually an antifascista, BLM, or union.
They need to understand there’s consequences for their actions if they try to deprive the vast majority of us, our rights.

Anyway, I’m sure by the third or fourth time they’ll learn not to do it…
Fascists aren’t exactly known as a very forward thinking group.

As the post text indicates, this particular graffiti was put up in the lead up to a planned far right protest in which fascists broadcast their intentions to swarm the area and harm refugees taking asylum. The answer to your question is very simple in this case.
Is the person in question a part of a far right mob attacking asylum seekers? If yes, kick their asses out of the city.
Local antifascists and punks have been in fact doing just that over the last several days there. Its really not complicated.

Violence isn’t the answer, it’s a question and the answer is yes.
Oh, whoops. Can this moderator please tell me where I messed up? I don’t know what comment this was now :/
welp :/ I guess not
I don’t think violence is the answer still. Why isn’t the police handling this?
Not sure if you are against violence but think police violence is needed, or think that the police doing it wouldn’t be violence.
And lastly, police almost always are on the side of the fascists so that’s why they are not there

Some of them are very easy to spot
I have yet to see anything like that irl
Be the change you want to see.

The Paradox of Tolerance:
“In a free society, tolerance is a virtue, but it cannot be unlimited. If we are tolerant of intolerance, the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them.”
— Karl Popper, The Open Society and Its Enemies
Words to live by.
Fascists – the ones you might meet on the street – are scared, broken people who need help and love. They are looking for control over a future that makes them feel powerless and meaningless. Fascism is a symptom. You can kill fascists for a month but if you don’t address the causes there will always be more.
That doesn’t mean to tolerate fascism or fascists. But the rhetoric of hatred and violence is counterproductive.
It’s no accident that fascism is increasing as the wealth gap is increasing, and more and more people are being pushed from the middle class and into poverty.
There is the ruling class, the working class whose labour contributes to the ruling class’s wealth, and the criminal class whose labour does not.
