I personally think it’s hilarious Red Hat tried to kill off its derivative distros and other companies are just treating this as a newly-opened niche 🤣 😂

    I am not exactly sure what’s in this for Suse tbh. Now they’re gonna maintain two different distros? I mean…good luck I guess? I just don’t see this as being viable long term and this feels more like an empty PR move than anything.

    but it isn’t a “market” in the sense that gonna return money to them, maybe “marketing”

      Yeah, I mean either this is an empty PR move that’s going to fizzle out, or they’re going to go into this with an idea of how it’s going to contribute to their business. Also, it seems unlikely a large enterprise software company like SUSE would announce something like this without any intent of following through.
