From what I understand of the changes to the medical exemptions a person with 2 knees no feet one hand and 2 elbows could still be denied medical exemption from conscription.
I don’t know about this guy specifically, but many of these people were forcibly conscripted, and the ridiculously short training period is effectively sending them to pointless deaths en masse unless they’re somehow able to surrender

I’m under the suspicion it’s not pointless, but an intentional effort to manufacture as high a death toll as possible. I don’t think the fascists ever expected or planned for a Ukrainian victory, but rather to sacrifice as many as possible in order to justify a new era of russophobic fascism in Europe.

I guess this is the limitations of the UAF’s ability to train people. Towards what end are these kids getting conscripted? What good is resistance to the Russians for the people of present day Ukraine? More bodies stacked up, but what is the reason? How is Ukraine worth all of this loss of human lives?

5 weeks training. Just enough to appreciate how fucked he was.
Boot camp for the US Navy is 10 weeks and that’s before any kind of professional training. Marines have 12 weeks followed by another 8 weeks of combat training just to be an infantryman.
What could you possibly learn in 5 weeks? Even my horticultural entomology class is 8 weeks and I don’t think that’s long enough to learn about bugs impacting a single crop.

The point is a) money for the western and specifically US military industrial complex and b) killing Russians. And make no mistake, in the eyes of most of the West a Ukrainian is still basically just another kind of Russian at the end of the day.
They don’t admit it in public but in private this is how they talk, those at the top who are masterminding all of this, not the everyday rubes who have just learned last year where Ukraine is and who have simply been swept along by the media narrative and are genuinely so naive that they believe the West just wants to help poor Ukraine.
So for them this is a win-win. The more Russians and Ukrainians die, the less of them there are to be able to challenge the West once the Ukrainians inevitably wake up from the grip of this idiotic nationalist ideology and realize again that they and the Russians are one people.
Some of the more intelligent among the Kiev regime realize this too. Arestovich for instance has said it out loud: if the West stops backing this war and if Russia and Ukraine as a result reunite again, their combined military might will pose an existential threat to the West, they would be unstoppable.
I don’t understand about these Arestovich type of guys, they once were advisors of presidents then went away for safety. Now they speak for integration or whatnot . This whole fiasco is so fucked up on many levels.
The point of a forever war is not to win it but to keep it going.
As for why the Ukrainians are going along with this, well i don’t usually get into the inner workings of the Kiev regime because i find it both irrelevant (as they are just puppets of the West) and boring, plus their days are numbered anyway so why bother? But the case of Arestovich is morbidly fascinating to me.
Arestovich is highly manipulative sociopath, he doesn’t seem to buy into the nationalist propaganda but he is more than happy to use those who do to advance his own position. Which is not hard to do as every time you see him give interviews with pro-Kiev Ukrainian media you can clearly see that intellectually he runs circles around most of the mouth breather Nazis he surrounds himself with. He’s certainly more intelligent than Zelensky, who if he had any sense would never have found himself in the situation he is in now, a hostage of the Nazis and forced to keep fighting a war he has no chance of winning.
At the moment Arestovich is telling more truth than the rest of the Kiev junta and likely advertising himself to the Western elite as the “voice of reason”, probably gunning for Zelensky’s seat once Z inevitably outlives his purpose for the West and he is disposed of one way or another.
Anyway, yes this whole conflict is quite a mess but it is one that has been thrust upon Russia and now needs to be dealt with. The entire Kiev garbage heap needs to be thoroughly sanitized, scrubbed clean of not just the Nazis and the various criminal corrupt lowlife thugs and Arestovich type sociopaths who have embedded themselves in the Ukrainian state and society, but also the myriad tentacles of the CIA, MI6 and their assorted NGOs. And the only way to do that is to win on the battlefield as the West refuses to let go of its pet project Ukraine otherwise. Once the battlefield collapse comes so will the collapse of the whole proxy regime and of the Western position in Ukraine.
