    A word does not deny anybody’s rights. “Coloured Person” is just as politically correct as “black” or “African American”. In fact “Coloured Person” is the most accurate of the 3 politically correct terms.

      just because something is “politically correct” at the time does not mean it was not offensive? there were literally signs in public spaces that said ”no colored people allowed". literally HOAs that said ”no colored people allowed". just because it’s a political term does not mean it was not used to disenfranchise a specific portion of society.
