The conspiracy joins a list of other claims by the presidential candidate, including the suggestion at an anti-COVID-19 vaccine demo that life was more difficult today than it was for those attempting to flee Nazi Germany

I’m starting to think this guy has to be a plant. I’m not sure to what end.

Although the sadder and lamer truth is likely that this is where we’re at as a country and he’s a natural consequence of our decline.

But… I can’t figure out yet how it helps them. He doesn’t appeal to progressives, and the approach is taking is not going to endear him to the moderates. Or even neoliberals. I don’t get with the plan is? But Steve Bannon was incredibly dangerous for a time. From gamergate to Cambridge analytica. So I’m not proclaiming this as a dumb move, just that I don’t understand it.

But I’m guessing that grifting has a lot to do with it.

It’s a blatant attempt to chip away Biden voters and cause division among Democrats. If you cost Biden just 4% of his voters then Trump would win.

RFK doesn’t appeal to progressive, but there’s a distinct number of voters in surveys who admit they have a favorable opinion of him simply because of the Kennedy name. (They aren’t aware of his policy ideas) Second, there’s a component of the far left that has always been anti-vaccines or anti-Ukraine and they elevated him to cult status for that reason alone. Bannon hopes that RFK can take a lot of shots at Biden from the left and get the left wing voters to either stay home or vote for the Green Party or something, enough to cost Biden the win.

Remember, Biden only won some states by tens of thousands of votes. That small change could cost him an entire state of electoral votes.

I think you’re missing the point that Biden is not doing well in health at age 80 (some people do but he seems to be sundowning) and there’s a lot of democrats that don’t want Kamala Harris as the next President.

Biden is not sundowning. I see it often in elderly patients and Biden is not. Stop making stuff up.

What would you call all of his confusion episodes on stage then? I’m not talking about his stutters (disability) or meandering speeches (old man talk). I’ve seen over a dozen videos where the guy needs someone to guide him because he’s completely lost.

Literally every president has flubs and gaffes. It’s an effect of having the world press following you 24/7. George W. Bush got lost on stage and nearly fell off, and another time he got stuck pulling on fake doors. The only reason it’s notable with Biden is because the GOP is promoting those videos and even sometimes altering them to make them more lurid.

What you’re describing is just not sundowning. I should know as I work with elderly patients. Sundowning is people getting loopy and delirious when they start to lose stimuli (eg. When it’s dark outside). It doesn’t happen during events like with Biden and certainly not while he’s under intense stage lights. You’re simply wrong and it’s an amateur diagnosis.

Oh this absolutely is right-wing ratfucking. I presume the intent is to divide & weaken Democrats, but RFK Jr. is one of maybe three Democrats that are anti-vax, so I’m seeing RFK’s campaign experiencing a failure to launch.

That’s pretty offensive to the tiny bamboo stalk I’ve got at my desk.
