I’m not convinced Rice is a long term #8. Box to box he’s incredible. His final third is extremely rough.
We’re still in the infancy stages of Havertz. He has more of the attributes needed for that role. Think we just need to see how he settles down.

Plenty here. But he’s only playing there bc Jorginho can’t play the 8.
A lot easier for Rice to be the 6 in our system than the 8.
The 6 is a more demanding position. There are less quality players available in that position.
The 8 in our system can be played by many depending on the need.
