The degradation of women’s rights is down to failure of the Democrats to maintain balance in the supreme court. It also represents RBGs inability to step aside when Democrats were in power. Supreme Court justices should have some decency, retire at say 67, and allow a new generation to come along. Clinging on until 87 was insanely risky as you certainly need 5 to 10 years leeway to navigate out on your terms. RBG was eulogised, but her clinging to her seat undermined a careers work and any progress on women’s rights amongst other core rights.

It wasn’t that Hilary was a woman, simply she was more dislikable than Liz Truss and seemed to put nothing out to convince people to vote for her. It wasn’t clear at all what she stood for or what her platform was.

It came across as entitled and like she took the electorate for granted. No matter how great or good you think you are, or how bad your rival is, you still have to ask the electorate to lend you their vote.

I’m confused. I remember when they shitcanned Xbox One version in favour Bedrock which was a buggy mess. Strategically they wanted everyone to play together which made sense and Bedrock progressed. This feels a bit like a betrayal. I guess values go out of the window when there is enough money on the table.

Ultimately, relationships often depend on it. Many men in my life are fine and comfortable when I express vulnerability or weakness. Though when I do in relationships, it often goes sideways. Decision making, certainty and very positively received. Alongside that, recent relationships respond positively as they prefer a submissive role.

The woman in my life have generally maintained this type of role.

I think you made some assumptions here that you cannot. The saving for the city does not say if it is per month or year, so we cannot assume it is a monthly thing. We also cannot assume they stopped payments for anyone as there was no conditions attached.

It could be that this doesn’t pay for itself directly, but if people get careers, they pay more tax over their lifetimes and probably spend more that has a positive effect on the local economy.

I believe basic income is a positive thing and should be rolled out, but there is no guarantees it pays back to councils directly. They have an obligation to their citizens regardless and having that safety net is worth investing in.

I understand moderation, but this is too heavy handed, and you’re just pushing people away. Is this supposed to be a community, or a mod pinboard that consumers respond to?

If I crosspost from reddit, from a subreddit not related to this content, it would rightly be removed, and I think relevance is important. Which it is described as a feminist community, it is about men’s lib and should be relevant to that.

I disagree. Under Blair, we increased spending on health as a percentage of the overall budget. Something Kier isn’t offering. I cannot stand Blair as a person, but I cannot help but feel he offered more to people than Kier has. When you’re getting outflanked to the left by a war criminal, it’s pretty bleak.

Hey, don’t attack what people want. This is a biological urge and hard to decide against. If you don’t want children, that is cool for you. If others do, that is also fine for them.

The world is messed up and getting worse, obviously, but may won’t share our cynicism and I probably don’t want to drag people down with me. It’s hard to build enthusiasm after.

I had a no scalpel vasectomy. My wound took about 3 weeks for me to feel comfortable. I had doubts after 2 weeks, but it eventually got there.

Here in the UK, they say 12 weeks minimum, and the test for all clear is after 16 weeks, but that’s probably a little safer and in these situations, I ain’t taking any gambles. Imagine knocking someone up 9 weeks after a vasectomy. Could be soul destroying.

That isn’t a good situation to be in but completely understandable. I don’t envy you. The treadrope of finding people to trust and always having to guard and protect yourself is not fun.

As someone who was in an emotionally abusive relationship, I don’t think I can read this without getting triggered.

I think it’s important to remember that all women are capable of being victims and perpetrators, and all men are also capable. Abusers have no genders and can occur in non-cis relationships.
