Plus one for Dell. I get some 4 year old decommissioned dells from my company and a 5300 is now my daily driver

I mean…I Guess my wife would have to get used to getting banged in the ass.
So I guess if be to down for it?
I can’t believe that I scrolled the whole thread and didn’t find Operation Ivy.
That’s actually very accurate. My local Illinois brewery charges 7.50 USD for pretty much all their beers. Be it 4.5% or 7.5%.
I wish I could get some bitter for $4.
But not everyone needs to have a work phone, some just need to authenticate
I work for a global company and help manage MFA for everyone…I use Google’s authenticator on my personal phone as they didn’t give me a work phone.
I still don’t understand why a hardware token isn’t being used. It’s such a low cost option when compared to buying a phone and plan for a user.
I work in IT and my 4 year old retired Dell 5300 is working just fine. Great form factor as well.
I’m sorry, I genuinely don’t understand the question of, is it right to give a worse education. Are you saying that homeschool is worse? Sorry not trying to deter from the topic, but I might just not be reading it right.
I will say this in response though, I don’t agree that everyone should be given a completely equal opportunity. What I do think is that everyone should be given a very superior baseline of opportunity.
Chasing completely equal opportunity seen like a fools errand. But we really should be putting education and health first, unfortunately we just don’t.
Actually, education and health are the 2 things I think the government should take care of in a serious way. That said, I still Believe people should be able to pay for alternative education or health care if they wish, I just think I should never see a bill for either of those two ever. Especially for children. Wtf are we doing if we as a society cannot afford for children to be healthy or educated?
Hey, I just installed fedora, how do you get that dock at the bottom? Sorry, I’ve been using kde for a while but wanted to try out fedora. Enjoying it so far
That’s actually my thought, though even if it was a mistake, it had to go through multiple people before the 22oz cup made it into this guys hand. I hope he wins
Wait, how do you get ranked for aphantasia? I did sure have it but have never had a name for it
That’s…a… very nice hat.
Yes, let’s undermine the current system by deplatforming those we don’t like.
A better option is to have a strong moderator who is able to turn off microphones when candidates go off the question. Make Trump look like an idiot when he only gets a few seconds to speak because he can’t put meaningful words together… But Biden would probably have a similar issue.
Or maybe we could get some candidates who are below life expectancy? That might interest people.
I disagree. It seems that the letters are along where the stress is, which can eventually cause determination. This part scares me when you consider how important what it’s holding it’s.
This is a very accurate description of what I’ve experienced with Linux as well. Sometimes things just work out the box, but some things are not worth the hassle, which is why I’m back on Windows after having used Linux as a daily driver for years.
So I’m an American working for an Irish company in the IT field, and everything you’re telling us is shite. The senior role at 15.50 an hour is garbage, my local grocery store pays better than that starting.
I’m not talking shit about/to you, but the job You’re doing sounds like glorified data entry. I’d take stick if what real works skills you have and start looking for work…
Also, anything to stop you from running that tracker software in a virtual machine? That would allow you to work in one monitor that they can track, but also allow you to job hunt in a second monitor. Just saying, installing anything on my personal computer is a huge no from me.
Actually, I thought dells were shit computers, then I started working at a place that only deals in Dell. I’m actually pretty impressed after having used a 5300. It’s been a pretty solid choice except for the battery.
I work help desk, and I’m actually surprised we don’t get more issue tickets considering it’s a global company.
I’m still rocking a xiomi watch that shows me notifications. I charge it once a week and it’s like 8 years old.
I had a Samsung Smart watch before, but the battery life was the same you’re experiencing.
Jellyfin is a bitch to get working outside my network. I don’t get how Plex made it so easy
