It perfectly captures the spirit of post-Soviet states: life is a bleak ruin of something once bright, and we all struggle against it and each other in search of non-existent wish granter. I’m not sure, of course, if devs intended it to read like this, but it does, especially for those of us who actually live in post-Soviet states. It’s a deeply melancholic series.
