I have used the EA station along one, kind of a weird setup.
No. While some equipment stays near a home area, that’s not always the case.
Regardless the energy density of batteries isn’t there yet. A combine can run through 20 gallons of diesel fuel an hour and run for 12+ hours straight. That’s 240 gallons of diesel… and equivalent to 8,904 kWh of fuel used.
I reserved it because it was only $100. At the time it was released the specs (dimensions) we’re not out yet. I was hoping it would be smaller. The midgate is awesome tho.
I could use it a few times a year to haul wagons, header carts, and pallets of seed around but that would basically be a novelty toy for me at that point. We already have a truck for that. https://i.imgur.com/WpyjW9n.png
For other scenarios it’s cheaper for me to just rent a truck or utility van.
