Yep, smell is critical for me. Ever been in a used car from a smoker? NASTY
Or even in a new car that uses offensive chemicals.
If a contractor bought the $100K RST version, can he/she write off the entire truck if it is used to get from one job to the next? This is of course assuming the contractor has at least $100K of tax obligations.
Tesla is doing that now. Heavily congested chargers will hit customers with a $1.00/minute fee after 90%.
Don’t sell that wonderful EV6! Next year, those Tesla stations are supposed to open up to all EV’s, and somehow adapters will be distributed.
Yeah, it’s a tough call. Comes down to your priorities. For me, the non-liftback design is a deal breaker. I’d rather sacrifice range, especially when the Ioniq brand has amazing charging speeds.
The Ioniq 5 has a large and wide liftback door, with a larger cargo area than a similar shaped body such as VW Golf. There’s also a small storage space when you lift the cargo floor too.
Congrats on your new Ioniq 6! I think it looks cool. Reminds me of the quirky Infiniti J30 and Merkur XR4TI.
I own a 2015 Model S and I recently sat in a Ioniq 5. I was super impressed with the smell and quality of the interior. Everything felt upscale, especially the buttons. They all had a soft and silent feel to them. Only Lexus has done something like that.
Seats were very comfortable, the fake leather felt very rich and smooth. The sound system is very good, just needs a 12" subwoofer for my bass needs. But the mid-range and tweets were very very good.
So I imagine the Ioniq 6 will be equal if not better in quality.
The Autopilot is huge help. Even the latest Toyota Safety Sense is pretty darn good. I rented a 2021 Prius for a month and it was excellent on long boring stretches of highway. It was about 80% as good as my 2015 Model S with AP1.
That is true, however not all ICE suffer from this. I’ve got a 2015 Model S and before that a 2006 Lexus LS430.
The Lexus powertrain was 2nd to none in the luxury car world. Dead silent and smooth as butter.
I own a 2015 Model S and love it to death. My mom owns a 2021 Subaru Forester. I love her car except for its annoying safety beeps and horrible CVT transmission. The build quality on her car blows away my Tesla.
Tesla still sells me on its superior tech and smooth electric power.
Yep I sure do remember those days. Don’t miss them at all!
Last winter I drove my Model S from Boston to Tampa. 90% of the drive was on Autopilot. I arrived in 2 days feeling refreshed. I stopped every 3 hours for 30-40 minutes for charge/rest too.
