Yes, this ADAC study only counts events where “road assistance” was necessary.
Running out of fuel/electricity is also removed from the statistic (User error).

Quite funny that the 2020 ID.3 which got destroyed for it’s software and 12v battery issues is actually the most reliable vehicle in that statistic. Only 0.2 out of every 1000 vehicles registered. Good outlook for the other MEB cars which will get included in next years statistic.
You need to try it again with a Tesla. CCS is in a deplorable state right now. Where Tesla is today… is closer to where CCS will be when the rest of the industry finds their pants.
This user had not a single issue with CCS. His problems were coming from choosing a inadequate BEV for his usecase. Would have not run into this problems with a EQE or EQS SUV.
The EQB is a short-range car with slow charging compared to something like a Tesla or the new Kia.
Also compared to dedicated Mercedes BEVs like EQS and EQE. The EQB was always an afterthought.
This has nothing to do with their German factory
Redditors reading his comments should understand where this user comes from. New account and lots of hot takes:
Ignore the downvotes, you’re correct and that’s because people don’t want EVs, they want Tesla’s.
okay
r/electric cars is anti Tesla btw. Ignoring the fact that Tesla sells more than all brands combined.
yeah
Anti Tesla brigade is here lol
How deep is Tesla going to dig their own grave? Imaging creating this mess just because you don’t want to provide a good work environment for 130 workers in a market where you sell over 10000 cars a year.
It’s even worse, this thing get picked up by press and unions in all over the EU and literally puts Tesla on target for these groups. Tesla has been under the radar for years with their none unionized workforce in the EU, now these stuff gets brought up just because of 130 Tesla workers in sweden.
10 year advantage Tesla has almost kept intact to date.
Could you name so domains were Tesla is 10 years ahead?
the problems to convert existing, outdated and often unusable factories to EV production
That’s what manufacturers do with all new cars or major refreshes. Basically everything inside gets sold and retooled. Look at european manufacturers, all their factories are retooled ICE ones and quality wise these doesn’t seem to be worse.
nor have the burden of dealerships
What burden exactly?
Tesla doesn’t outsource almost anything
Just battery cells, suspension parts, radar chips, cameras, tires, wheels, plastic parts, fasteners etc.
When Ford has an outsourced piece of hardware coming from China being replaced with a different one, the time they need to adapt their car software can be much much longer than the time Tesla need to do the same with an in-house item
Hm, Tesla was using Bosch radar and switched to cameras and their autopilot software with vision only is still lagging behind the Mobileye+Bosch Radar one.
You liar :D

Same inventory discounts as everywhere else in europe.
Model Y inventory in germany is discounted by up to 7000€ for the LR version.
But thats what makes leasing rates go higher for people who want to get a lease now.
this might not even result in much of a margin hit.
??? Why state this, you can just look at their numbers and see their margins are in fact dropping.
Tesla is heavily discounting cars in europe at the end of each quarter for the last 4 quarters now. There were regular price reductions in Q4/2022 and Q1/2023 in Q2 and Q3 Tesla mostly reduced prices on inventory cars and offered other benefits (free supercharging, trade in etc.)
Why is the Ioniq 5 widely more popular than the ID4?
It isn’t. Atleast not in the real world.
Never knew a Tesla Model 3 is able to drive at 266 mph…
Not really night and day, is it?
