Huh? You had to choose between both new gens M340i which retails for $55k and an M3 comp which retails for $120k?

I don’t understand why you wouldn’t get the M3 comp if you could afford it anyway.

Yeah the difference in exhaust sound is insane. Definitely one of the best stock sounds I’ve heard.

I had a similar decision, but mine had in mind a baby on the way so I went with the much more family friendly M340I

If I was single for the foreseeable, I was thinking of either the M3 or an old R8

Get a 2019 m340i 😊 , looks better , and stock exhaust is leaps and bounds better then the facelift

I love the 340i but it is clearly out of OPs budget. For the majority of people a 330i ticks every box, the 320i too if you don’t mind lesser performance

M340i also gets 40mpg on Eco on highways
