That’s right, higher union dues. The same reason why Democrats want 15 bucks an hour. It won’t change a thing, in fact it will lump a bunch more people who make slightly more in with the minimum wage folk. But it does provide the government with more? That’s right, income tax.

The slowdown is a fact. Part of it is driven by the money being gone after 3 years of rampant inflation. But another part is 100% people not buying in. A portion of new EVs sold are sold to existing EV owners. New people simply aren’t lined up.

The sole reason why Tesla got in it was because they saw EVs starting to become uninsurable. Tesla insurance is also completely connected to how you drive. No opt out. You drive late at night, like to accelerate and brake hard, high cornering speed? You quickly start to pay more for it.
